Conflicts are good. It's great to have an argument (die Auseinandersetzung) It means we have to find a new solution. It means that the relationship will be deeper. Once we can figure out how to solve the problem we feel free, we feel like a newborn baby. Some people try to avoid conflicts. They think conflict avoidance (die Konfliktvermeidung) is ok. I don't think so.
Each conflict, argument sends a signal. It is important not to take it personally and simply try to find the best solution . The only way to achieve it is through the resistance ( der Widerstand), pain (der Schmerz), difficulties (die Schwierigkeiten) and anger (die Wut). Do you agree? Question for discussion for the German lesson: 1. How do you solve conflicts in your culture? 2. Is it better to avoid the conflict of face the problems and try to solve them? |
