In the beginning my students of German are always a bit tensed (angespannt) and nervous about our online conversation lesson. Some of my students feel so nervous that they can here their heart pounding (pochen).
My first task is to relax the student and make him comfortable. The aim of the first German lesson is to relax (Sich entspannen). After a few minutes it will be more and more relaxing (immer lockerer).
Once the student is relaxed and comfortable we can reach our goals, it is vital to be relaxed during our conversation lessons. It is natural that in some cases we might feel a bit nervous when we have to speak German.
The anxiety (die Angst) can be natural. It is one of our most frequently experienced feelings. A bit anxiety can be positive, it can release some positive energy. Dealing with stress and anxiety is part of our personal development (die Entwicklung). Let's face it: The anxiety and fear is part of our human nature (Angst beherrscht uns Menschen).
